Many of the projects that I work on never make it to the website, because it takes time to get all the files in order, take photographs, add the details page, etc. If I even remember which projects I was planning to add. ;-)
Still, more things are constantly added. What made it to the website in August? Well...
1) A beach themed wedding shower invitation with a banner to highlight the bride's name:
2) A 6x3 inch airplane boarding pass save the date magnet with some tropical palm trees by the side:
3) A jungle themed baby shower invitation with a lion, monkey, and giraffe:
4) A 3x4 inch Vegas wedding save the date magnet:
5) A wedding invitation with the Chicago skyline:
....and that wasn't all. I already posted about the luggage tag save the dates from earlier this month!
Here be posted photographs of magnets, cards, stickers and other news pertaining to Save the Date Originals.

Doctor Who Baby Shower
Hee. How can one resist? This is a 4.4x6.2 inch shower invitation with some whovian influence.
This card is made of white card stock; The gray starry background is part of the printed design. The circles at the top supposedly means "Baby!" in timelord language, but I can't vouch for that 100%, not being able to read the language myself.

Scalloped favor tags
Favor tags are another one of those things that aren't posted on the website right now, but are available if people ask for them. Which is why I have a photograph of these sweet scalloped favor tags for you to take a look at:
Babies are sweet, and so are the candy favor that were given out at this baby shower. These favor tags are pastel pink, with pastel blue, pastel green, and then purple rows of dots for added color. These favor tags are circular, about 2 inches in diameter.

Baby on Board
A baby on board car magnet that is about 4x6 inches. It mimics a poster that the British government released in 1939 saying "Keep calm and carry on." Colors are attention-getting red and yellow, and, the black border is part of the magnet.

Stage Monkey!
One of my customers wanted a sort of Broadway playbill theme for baby shower invitations, and she knew that she wanted to include a cute monkey. We ended up with this large magnet shower invitation design with our cute monkey and a curtain/stage background. Pinkish purple hues certainly work for celebrating the arrival of a baby girl, though of course the colors can be mixed up a bit if you like the idea and want to tweak it for a new set of shower invitation magnets.
There was also an accompanying response card that was fairly simple. This is another design that is not yet posted on the Save the Date Originals website, so Contact STDO if you are interested.

Thank You x2
Every week there is something new to work on. I rarely blog about thank you cards, but they are another area where people can really set their stationery and event apart. As with other stationery, you have choices. One of those choices is a flimsy pack of TY cards from the store... or... something custom and awesome!
Check out this TY card designed to match a baby shower invitation that I already offered, made just for a customer who wondered if there couldn't be a matching TY card for the invitations. Both cards have a design that is meant to remind one of the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom children's books.

Another recent thank you card project is sports themed. The darker red pattern between the top and bottom is meant to remind you of the stitching on a baseball. Sports themed save the dates and invitations are one of the newer ideas I have seen more people having fun with in recent years. If both the bride and groom have little interest in the frilly, the flowery, or the pretty, and happen to have sports teams that root for, this theme is something that they can have fun with.

Both cards are made of white card stock, and are folded 5.5x4.25 inch cards.
